Il Sogno e Reality
Venice, between dream and reality: Ancient facades, reflections on the water, and mysterious masks characterize the five works in the series “La Serenissima.” They blend impressions of the lagoon city with the idea of stories that lie beneath its visible surfaces.
Vistas connect the works: doors and windows open, a gondola glides between facades. Masks keep their secrets as light and water shift the city's contours.
“Il Sogno ” (The Dream) reveals the mysterious side of Venice with sculptural masks and iridescent surfaces.
“Realtà” (Reality) focuses on the lagoon and a gondola ride, featuring unconventional framing and striking colors.
