In the “Inspired by Scent” collection, this invisible poetry becomes tangible: perfumes serve as the spark that ignites textile works of art.

From Scent to Textile Art

In my wool paintings, visual translation takes place: A scent hangs in the air, and fibers, colors, and textures begin to respond. As the creation process unfolds, the piece often develops its own unique nuances—notes are added or deepen the image until an independent textile composition stands in the room.

How to read the artwork pages: A short guide

Each page of the Inspired by Scent collection invites you to sensory exploration and guessing:

  • Olfactory interpretation: For each piece, you will find a custom-designed fragrance pyramid consisting of top, heart, and base notes. It describes the notes and sensory impressions that the finished painting exudes.

  • The perfume bottle icon: This symbol marks the secret behind the origin and leads to the

  • Scent mystery: A click on the line "Which scent inspired this?" reveals the fragrance that inspired it and my thoughts behind it.

Some fragrances are inextricably linked to a feeling, a place, or a specific experience. In Inspired by Scent, such invisible impressions can take on a visible, tangible form.
